I have a spreadsheet somewhere that I did back in '03 or '04 (when gas was somewhat less than $2.50/gal) on how much the truck cost me per year. I should redo it now that gas is $3.50, my accessories budget is $0 (I confess! I used to have a truck accessories budget.), and based on a theoretical 26mi. round trip commute.
